Synopsis
The Garvey sisters are united by the death of their parents and the promise that they will always protect each other. Sharon Horgan (Eva) is the sister of former Irish rugby player Shane Horgan.

What a bad man his brother-in-law Jean Paul is (very effective performance by Claes Bang). There’s always one of those nasty, awful guys in the family.
I just want to be part of this wonderful, crazy family
So it’s a pleasure to watch the sisters plan and orchestrate Jean Paul’s downfall in the most gruesome way! The magic is in the relationship between the sisters, which feels incredibly authentic, in the way they look after each other and encourage each other with convincing banter.
An added bonus is the clumsy insurance stepbrothers who provide entertainment as they try to solve the mysterious case
I haven’t seen the Belgian version, but this British remake feels like a standalone with its performances, funny direction and a script that has so much to offer after the first two episodes that you can expect this dark comedy thriller to become addictive.
