Or whether they cast the right actor to play RCB
Synopsis
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham, who have been long-standing rivals, as their rivalry comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner had previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books, so I can’t comment on how accurate this is.
It’s a bit cheesy
However, I can say that I really enjoyed this series and I really hope there’s a second series. But that makes it great TV. And it’s a great escape from reality. I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
But it’s good that they don’t drag it out too much. David Tennant is great as always. But I was actually more surprised by how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things.
But he was brilliant
(Who hasn’t seen him yet) And I was a bit skeptical about seeing him in this. There are so many characters that I absolutely love and some that I loved to hate. Too many to list them all. I highly recommend it.
